玉米澱（diàn）粉餐具主要分兩種，看材質說明，一種是澱粉基，澱粉（fěn）的主要來源是玉米，所以有時也（yě）叫玉米澱粉基，其（qí）實是澱粉和傳統石油基PP等的混合塑料，國外叫生物基（jī）。是可以通過澱粉的生物降解而致使整個（gè）材料物理性能崩潰，但崩潰後的石油（yóu）基PP還是不可降解的。對比傳統的餐具（jù）是比較環保，成本也差（chà）不多（duō）。

另一種是（shì）PLA聚乳酸，1噸的（de）聚乳酸是用3噸（dūn）的玉米澱粉提取轉化出來的，工藝（yì）流程複雜，所以也比較高，這種是完全可降解的。但是純PLA是不耐高溫的，所以市（shì）場上的完全降解（jiě）餐具大多是改性PLA做的，也（yě）是添加完全生物降解的石油（yóu）基PBAT等其他材料的。如果（guǒ）宣傳完全降解（jiě），生物基部分和石油基部分都必須是完全可降解的。

The other is PLA polylactic acid. One ton of PLA is extracted and transformed from 3 tons of corn starch. The process is complex, so the price is relatively high. This kind of PLA is completely degradable. But pure PLA is not resistant to high temperature, so most of the fully degradable tableware on the market is made of modified PLA, which is also added with other materials such as petroleum-based PBAT which is completely biodegradable. If the propaganda is completely degradable, both the bio-based and petroleum-based parts must be completely degradable.

嚴格（gé）意（yì）義上說，澱粉基混合PP那種（zhǒng）從（cóng）整體看不能（néng）稱為可降解，或者部分可降解，因為整體放（fàng）在堆肥環境中式沒法降解的，隻有分離出來才可以。歐洲已經（jīng）不（bú）用降解，完全降解來描（miáo）述材質，用可堆肥來說明，因為可堆肥對降解的時間，降解後的顆粒大小，降解後成分對植物生長的影響都進行限（xiàn）定，來保證材質的性。

Strictly speaking, the starch-based blended PP can not be called degradable or partially degradable as a whole, because the whole can not be degraded in composting environment, only separated.
